Shanghai Zhuyuan No. 2 Sewage Treatment Plant Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Phase I (7.1MW) Project

As a demonstration project of sewage treatment + photovoltaic power generation, the project adopts a new flexible photovoltaic support system to improve the space utilization rate of the sewage pool surface.

The project is divided into two parts: the first part is to build a conventional photovoltaic system above the deep-bed sand filter and high-efficiency settling tank roof of the upgraded supplementary plant; The second part is the construction of flexible support photovoltaic system above the secondary sedimentation tank in the original plant. The prestressed suspension cable design scheme of "large span and high headroom" is adopted in the sewage pool area. The total span on both sides is close to 200m, and the height of the support from the ground is 6m, which effectively avoids the working space of the sewage pool surface and meets the requirements of various specifications.

In view of the characteristics of the large layout span of the sewage treatment plant site, the grid-connected 3MW photovoltaic project in the secondary sedimentation tank area selected advanced prestressed suspension photovoltaic bracket structure, which has the advantages of less land occupation and good wind resistance, and achieved the perfect integration of "photovoltaic + sewage treatment plant".

The photovoltaic project is designed to receive a total light area of about 70,000 square meters. After the project is put into operation, the average annual power generation can reach more than 8.3 million KWH, which is equivalent to saving 6,900 tons of standard coal per year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 3,500 tons per year, further optimizing the power structure of the sewage plant, increasing the proportion of clean energy and renewable energy power supply, and realizing the unity of social benefits of environmental protection and energy conservation and economic benefits of reducing energy costs. It has played an experimental and demonstration role in low-carbon development. The successful operation of the project will have positive practical significance for the promotion of photovoltaic applications in Shanghai sewage treatment plants.

Today, into the Yangtze River bank of Shanghai Zhuyuan second sewage treatment plant, green bamboo shade, birds and flowers, neatly arranged "photovoltaic coat" in the sun shining, a steady stream of clean electricity from here slowly into the plant, for the sewage treatment production and operation quietly help. The successful grid connection of the first phase of distributed photovoltaic power generation (7.1MW) project of Shanghai Zhuyuan Second sewage Treatment Plant gives full play to the natural advantages of "photovoltaic + sewage treatment plant", which is an active exploration of reducing the electricity cost of sewage treatment plant, realizing the path of low carbon zero emission, helping the construction of ecological civilization of sewage treatment plant, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of green integration.
